Area Export Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Identifies and develops new business opportunities, with the aim to achieve sales targets and maintain customer relationships
  • Conducts market research and analysis to create strategic plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, new business development etc.)
  • Works closely with the customers/ partners to follow through with the set strategic goals
  • Acts as a brand ambassador in the assigned markets
  • Serves as the contact person who provides solutions to all customer needs
  • Travels and visits customers/ partners abroad in order to provide commercial and technical expertise
  • Delivers on a timely manner through personal work and co-ordination of cross functional teams
  • Utilizes in-depth industry and technical knowledge to become a trusted advisor with customers/ partners

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or business administration (a post graduate degree will be considered a plus)
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales/ business development (preferably in the building materials/ construction chemicals sector)
  • Solid command of the English language
  • Integrity
  • Excellent communication skills and team spirit
  • Strong analytical/ problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Available for travelling frequently
